Making a Will is one of the most important things you can do regardless of your age, your wealth or whether you’re married, in a registered civil partnership or single. It is easy to assume that your spouse or partner, children and grandchildren will inherit your wealth. However, this is not always the case; sometimes things are complicated, especially where there is a divorce or separation in the family. Spouses and civil partners may not automatically be entitled to all of your wealth. If you are not married or in a registered civil partnership, your partner may not automatically be entitled to anything.
Our main concern is to ensure that you have made provision for every eventuality. Making a Will can protect your partner and your children, save inheritance tax, preserve assets and help to avoid disputes.
